The 3rd Exhibition of Machine Vision
The Third International Conference on Machine Vision and Industrial Application and the Third Exhibition of Machine Vision (VisionChina2006) will be held on June 11 to 13, 2006 in Beijing. VisionChina2006 will be sponsored by China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG) and co-sponsored by Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), organized by CSIG Tianjin Branch and Shaanxi Branch. It will be a conference combining technology and market application, which includes the industrial analysis, technical discussions, applications as well as prospect exploitations. It aims at promoting the exchange between the academic and the industrial areas, boosting the development of the related industries and science and technology.
CSIG held VisionChina2004 in June 2004 and VisionChina2005 in June 2005 in Beijing successfully and was praised by experts and participants at home and abroad. The conference has become the most focused meeting of every year, showing the increasingly effect on both the industry and the academic areas, and plays a great roll on promoting the machine version industry in China.
By inquires into the participants and survey on the attendance, CSIG has summed up the successful experience and lessons from VisionChina2004 and VisionChina2005 and established a rather solid foundation for VisionChina2006. By inheriting the successful experience of the last two meetings, CSIG will do its best to show its own characteristic, attract the participation of more and more professionals, and accelerate jointly the development and application of the machine vision technology and the related industry in China.
To achieve this end, VisionChina2006 will focus on the following seven themes:
1. To predict the global development trend and outlook in machine vision;
2. To take a deep look at the world ‘s recent development of soft wares and hard wares in machine vision;
3. To study the latest technology and products of the machine vision industry and analyze the
typical successful application cases;
4. To invite famous experts from China and other countries to give reports on basic knowledge in
the area;
5. Scatheless inspection by machine vision technology;
6. digital video and image processing technology (specially for technical discussion);
7. And high level forum of representative from enterprises at home and abroad.
VisonChina2006 will invite famous experts from China and other countries to give reports on special topics, give talks on the kennel technologies of machine vision, and give analysis on the state of art of machine vision and typical successful application cases at home and abroad. In addition, a group of leading high-tech companies in this field from all over the world will attend this grand gathering and show their recent achievements. 2 or 3 veteran engineers from each company will appear in their respective stand to exchange technical ideas and discuss cooperation with visitors.
The organizers will try their best to build a platform of exchange and communication for personages of the industry, to strengthen technical exchange and cooperation in the field of machine vision for every walk of life in China, and to help colleagues in this industry grasp new achievements of development and application in this field. In accordance with the common request of the personages of the industry VisionChina2006 will organize different sessions on special topics to facilitate the participants to discuss and exchange in depth.
Up to now CSIG has received many positive feedbacks. Compared VisionChina2004 and VisionChina2005 to VisionChina2006, the number of participant enterprises will increase greatly and cover broader areas and industries. According to incomplete statistics, over a hundred enterprises have expressed their intentions to take part in VisionChina2006, including tens of international companies.
The exhibition contents will include machine vision detecting systems, light sources, cameras, camera lens, video inspecting systems, optical inspecting systems, video image test systems, industrial infrared thermal imager, image grabbing, image processing, image analysis, medical image, remote-sensed image, 3-D measuring, sensors, and video monitoring systems, etc.
We caudally invite enterprises applying machine vision technology, well-known scholars at home and aboard, high level manufacturers in the industry to participate in VersionChina2006.
